Presenting The Living Room 2022 Lineup!
The Living Room continues to bring 4 jam packed days of programming providing beach time day party fun followed by a continuous groove-based dancefloor by night.
Thursday night we have UK disco don GREG WILSON making his Canadian debut! If we are lucky, he will pull out his reel 2 reel for a little taste of how it used to be done.
Friday, we nurture some of our home-grown Kootenay talent by day, keeping things bumping into our classic house night with some all-time greats like Mark farina and Miguel Migs, for those who love the “oonts oonts” deep and sexy. Then we have a morning with Legendary west coast DJ Dickey Doo flying all the way in from Berlin.
Saturday, we showcase a diverse & eclectic cast of our funky faves along with some new additions to the living room family. We start off with deep luscious bass from Tor. Later day gets funky with Dane for a perfect transition into Muchi Mambo, Foxy Moron, and the return of Vinyl Ritchie. Not to be missed we have Canada’s own Trevor Walker for a lifeboogie good time! Be sure to check out Indigenous artist Tomahawk Bang for some late-night tasteful house grooves, followed by Living room all-star Jeremy Sole.
Sunday serves up a dubby melodic bass format to wind our weekend down. At night we give a nod to the underground vibe of the old school rave days with a carefully curated, deeper minimal side of techno. Mathew Jonson, The Mole, Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts all making their Shambhala debut, capped off with a beautiful morning set by Shawna (KMLN) to bring us home.
All weekend we feature a world class blend of performance art and immersive experiences.
Living Room continually aims to create an inclusive, safe environment where folks can dance, play, chill, rest and relax and be fully self-expressed, free of judgement. All are welcome.
Our music format is Genre Fluid. After all, we are one nation under a groove.
