Group hotel booking company HotelPlanner has partnered with the Finland-based group booking provider MeetingPackage and plans to offer clients by year-end the ability to book meeting and event spaces along with hotel rooms, the companies announced.
“Allowing our customers to book meeting rooms directly online will deliver huge cost reductions and time savings,” said HotelPlanner managing director Bas Lemmens. “The integration work has already started, and we expect to go live by the year end of 2021.”
It is unclear whether users will be able book both lodging and meeting spaces simultaneously or as two separate transactions. MeetingPackage did not respond to requests for clarification.
