Meetings management technology provider Cvent and event production company Encore have partnered to offer clients an “end-to-end virtual and hybrid event solution,” the companies announced.
Encore clients will have access to Cvent’s management platform, and Cvent customers will have access to Encore’s production offerings, effective immediately. (PSAV acquired Encore in 2019 and assumed its name for the merged company.) The partnership offers a single point of contact to manage all aspects of the virtual and hybrid event planning process, according to the companies.
“The pandemic has revolutionized the way organizations plan and manage their events, and successful organizations now offer a mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid events across their total event program,” said Cvent CEO and founder Reggie Aggarwal in a statement. “With the digitization of events driven in part by the pandemic, events can be more impactful than ever before, but that also means it’s more complex to manage an event program that drives results.”
Cvent has nearly 200,000 users worldwide and began to offer virtual capabilities, dubbed the Cvent Engagement Hub, last August. Encore operates in over 2,100 venues in more than 20 countries across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia-Pacific, according to the companies.
